PyRon is the asset productivity layer of Fogo. At its core, it is a composable, efficient, and scalable lending and borrowing protocol built natively for Fogo's high-speed architecture. Users can supply supported assets to earn interest or use them as collateral to borrow other assets.
Unlike ports or wrappers from other chains, PyRon was built directly for Fogo. It leverages Fogo's sub-40ms block times and Firedancer technology to deliver real-time lending operations without off-chain intermediaries. Every interaction is permissionless and handled on-chain with health factor, liquidation logic, and interest rate modeling fully automated.
The goal of PyRon is simple: unlock dormant capital across the Fogo ecosystem and make it productive. Through PyRon, users, traders, and other protocols gain the ability to borrow against assets, generate passive yield, and compose more advanced financial strategies across DeFi.
